Quality Assurance Intern

The Quality Assurance Intern supports the QA team in ensuring that digital products, websites, and applications meet quality standards before deployment. The role involves learning and applying software testing techniques, executing tests across multiple devices and platforms, documenting and reporting bugs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that deliverables meet client requirements and are free from critical issues.

Job Responsibilities

• Learn and apply various software testing techniques such as black-box testing, white-box testing, and regression testing,
• Assist in test planning, test case creation, and execution to ensure proper validation of website and digital features,
• Execute website and application testing across multiple devices and environments including mobile, tablets, and desktops using tools such as emulators,
• Assist in identifying, documenting, and reporting bugs using bug-tracking platforms,
• Support the QA team in monitoring and verifying bug fixes to ensure issues are properly resolved,
• Collaborate with developers, project managers, and other team members to clarify issues and improve product quality,
• Help maintain clear and organized testing documentation and reports,
• Assist in ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards and client requirements before release.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in software testing and quality assurance processes,
• Basic understanding of websites, web applications, and digital platforms is an advantage,
• Familiarity or willingness to learn QA tools such as bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA),
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking skills,
• Good written and verbal communication skills,
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams,
• Willingness to learn testing tools, techniques, and QA best practices.

Work set-up and working hours:

• 10:00 am - 7:00 pm PHT Monday to Friday
