Accounts Receivable Clerk

The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for checking and validating sales order (SO), purchase order (PO), and other supporting documents before processing the invoices, recording and tracking of issued invoices, communicating with clients and sales for overdue payments and resolving issues, and reconciliation of payments in the accounts receivable book. Performs accounting and clerical tasks related to accounts receivable function.

Job Responsibilities

• Global client relations,
• Accounts Receivable management,
• Handle multiple global client accounts,
• Maintain and update customers records,
• Check and validate sales order (SO), purchase order (PO), and other supporting documents before processing the invoices,
• Implement invoicing procedures,
• Manage clients and sales rep requests and queries,
• Verify tax information,
• Record and track issued invoices,
• Contact and remind clients regarding their overdue payments,
• Communicate with clients and sales to resolve any issues regarding overdue payments, discrepancies, payment delays and other related matters,
• Regular review of customer ageing and development of action plans to resolve aged items,
• Reconcile customer payments in accounts receivable records,
• Ensuring all collection are posted and properly allocated to customer accounts,
• Other accounts receivable tasks as required by the Sales Admin Manager and Finance Manager,

Qualifications:

• Candidate must have at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Financial management or any related business course
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Good to excellent communications skills in English
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Good understanding of VAT taxation rules and regulations
• Have excellent interpersonal skills, a good team spirit and are rigorous
• Good analytical ability
• Highly motivated, confident and organized individual
• Works well under pressure when working to tight deadlines

Advantage/Nice to have:

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in a similar role
• Previous experience of working within AR department for a multinational company
• Background in NetSuite is a plus

Work set-up and working hours:

• 10:00am - 7:00pm / 2:30pm - 11:30pm PHT Monday to Friday
