Whatsquare team is looking for a Lead Product Developer to join our team as the manager and creator of omni-channel messaging solutions with a relentless focus on bringing value to our clients. You will be dedicated to making our clients stronger and seeking out opportunities for growth with our digital solutions.

What you’ll be doing?

• Design and develop new features for the company's proprietary omni-channel solution and customized chatbots, connecting international brands with customers on local messaging apps including WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, LINE, KakaoTalk, and WeChat etc.
• Plan for detailed product roadmap by analyzing clients' demand and offerings in the market
• Assist preparation of documentations, product demos, and analytics reports for presentation
• Support ad-hoc change requests from clients

Who are we looking for?

• Min. 5 years relevant development experience preferable at international agencies in digital production
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science and related disciplines
• Thorough knowledge in AWS, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and Bootstrap
• Strong knowledge of relational database design, object oriented programming, data structures, algorithms and design patterns
• Experience with LAMP, Azure, messaging platforms, natural language processing, chatbot, CRM, payment gateways, Spark AR, and photo editing software is a plus
• Experience in product management is an advantage
• Experience working with end users, project managers and designers
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead a development team
• Detail-minded, proactive, self-motivated, and willing to take responsibility
• Fluent in English and Cantonese
