To keep pace with technological developments in the field and face up to its increasing challenges through constant innovation, Datawords is looking for an HR Internship.


The primary mission of the HR Internship is to support the HR function through a variety of tasks related to the employee lifecycle at Datawords. This role aims to provide practical experience to complement the academic knowledge acquired in the relevant educational program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Lifecycle Processes:
    • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and departing employees.
    • Support internal communications to keep employees informed and engaged.
    • Assist in the creation and maintenance of job descriptions, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Training and Development:
    • Oversee the company’s training plans from start to finish, ensuring effective delivery and follow-up.
    • Provide support for training activities, helping to coordinate and facilitate learning opportunities.
  • HR Systems and Data Management:
    • Update and maintain data in various HR systems, including HRIS, Time & Attendance, and Employee Engagement platforms.
    • Prepare reports on various HR metrics and activities to support decision-making.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Perform benefit administration tasks, including managing restaurant and transport ticket programs.
    • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of various administrative and HR documents.
    • Support day-to-day HR operations, ensuring an efficient and well-organized office environment.
  • Office Management:
    • Oversee office inventory and supplies, including order management, distribution, and invoice processing.
    • Manage mail and package reception, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Event Planning and Coordination:
    • Participate in the planning and execution of company events, including team-building activities and celebrations.
    • Help foster a positive and inclusive work environment through active collaboration.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Be able to sign an internship agreement with your university for 6 months.
  • Spanish and English proficiency is a must!
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with advanced skills in data analysis, and pivot tables.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to a dynamic HR team.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
