Linguistic project coordinator

As part of the Multilingual Content Production Dpt., your primary responsibilities would include:

  • preparing translation projects with CAT tools (with multilingual target languages)
  • preparing briefings for every kind of linguistic tasks: translation, post-edition, proofreading, QA for website, SEO
  • scheduling tasks for in-house translators and proofreaders
  • negotiation with freelance translators (tasks to be carried out, deadlines, rates)
  • follow-up of translators ("technical" support, details on instructions)
  • contacting clients for content approvals
  • preparation of the files to be delivered
  • updating of team tools (customer files, supplier files)

 

 Desired Profile

  • Higher education in languages or translation
  • Familiar with linguistic project management
  • Working languages: High level of English and French required
  • Appreciation for a dynamic, multicultural work environment
  • Team player, interpersonal skills, adaptability, multitask-oriented
  • Excellent knowledge of Office tools, interest in new technologies, computer savvy
  • Experience with Trados Studio
  • 1-2 years of experience

  • Working hours: 40 hours over 5 days
  • Salary depending on experience
