QA Specialist I

The QA Specialist I conducts website testing across devices, develops and executes test scenarios, and reports bugs using Jira. They assess functionality, ensure bug-free deliverables, and collaborate on testing strategies while maintaining QA documentation.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform website testing across various devices such as mobile, tablets, and desktops using emulation tools like Browserstack,

• Conduct initial testing to identify potential issues and areas for enhancement,

• Develop, update, and execute test scenarios,

• Execute a range of test cases from simple to complex, analyze results, and report findings,

• Assess functionality, performance, and responsiveness according to briefs, 

• Report bugs and issues using platforms such as Jira,

• Continuously improve internal processes to meet client standards,

• Collaborate with the QA team to develop and implement effective testing strategies,

• Ensure deliverables are completely bug-free per client standards,

• Document and communicate any defects or issues discovered during testing,

• Compile and send QA summary reports,

• Assist in creating and maintaining QA documentation and test plans,

• Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field,

• At least 1 to 2 years of experience in quality assurance, including multi-device testing,

• Familiarity with Jira or similar bug-tracking tools,

• Experience in creating test cases,

• Strong attention to detail and consistency,

• Good verbal and written communication skills,

• Familiarity with QA methodologies and tools is an advantage,

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously,

• Team player with the ability to work in a global team environment,

• Open to working in a multicultural environment,

• Strong IT skills and a meticulous approach to work,

• A meticulous attitude to work,

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes,

• Use logical techniques and reasoning to identify peculiarities on certain tasks,

• Adapt easily to any page-specific adjustments.

Work Set-Up and Working Hours

• 2:30pm - 11:30pm PHT Monday to Friday
